Citrix XenApp Plugin Error During Install

If you get the following error when trying to install the XenApp Plugin for Hosted Apps:

"The installer detected that your computer has a previous version of the client installed per-user. Before installing XenApp Plugin for Hosted Apps, remove the existing, installed client."

Then you need to:

1. Follow the instructions listed at http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx325140.
2. Open Registry Editor and do a search for the word 'citrix'.
3. Delete every instance that you find.
4. Re-run the XenApp plugin installation disregarding the error messages you see.
